Hwy 70 Demolition
West Tennessee
About Us
Steady Work.
Honest People.
Hwy 70 Demolition is part of the Hwy 70 family of companies — veteran-led, West Tennessee rooted, and built on a simple idea: do the work right and treat people with respect.
Who We Are
Demolition done the Hwy 70 way.
Hwy 70 Demolition grew out of a simple reality — every remodel, rebuild, or new construction project starts with something that needs to come down first. We built this company to handle that work the same way we handle everything else: carefully, professionally, and with clear communication throughout.
We are not a company that moves fast and cleans up later. Demolition, done right, is planned work. It requires understanding what's staying, protecting what matters, and leaving a site in better condition than we found it.
That's the standard we hold ourselves to.
Tennessee General Contractor License
#86145
Held by Al Roney, President — Hwy 70 Demolition
Our license covers the full scope of general contracting work in Tennessee, including demolition, site preparation, and construction. We carry appropriate insurance and operate with permits when required by the jurisdiction.
If you're working with an insurance company, a bank, or a municipality that needs documentation, we can provide it.
How We Work
The same principles on every job.
We define the scope clearly before work starts — what's coming down, what's staying, and what the site looks like when we're done.
We protect utilities, adjacent structures, and landscaping. Demolition doesn't mean careless.
We communicate before, during, and after. You won't be wondering what happened.
We clean up. Every time. A finished job means debris hauled and site left ready.
We treat the property with respect, whether it's a family home, a rental, or a commercial building.
We tell you if something changes the scope — before we move forward, not after.
Leadership
The people behind the work.

Our Family
Part of something larger.
Hwy 70 Demolition is part of the Hwy 70 family of companies, alongside Hwy 70 Construction & Home Repair.
When a property needs demolition before construction, renovation, or sale, we handle both sides of that work under the same roof. The demolition crew and the construction crew know each other, communicate with each other, and hold each other to the same standard.
That coordination matters. It means less handoff confusion, tighter sequencing, and a single point of accountability from site prep to final walkthrough.
If your project involves both demolition and construction work, talk to us about handling it together.
